Renault Megane has said that the company should smarten up next to compete in the competitive hatchback sector, not least that means Renault Megane strive for the best.
Renault will never make radical replacement for the Megane, but officials acknowledge that something needs to be done to fight the progress of Audi, BMW and Mercedes to the family hatchback segment.
Megane said the French firm exterior design chief, Anthony Lo, “can never change too radical”, if it does not lose market share, “needed to compete with cheap premium German car” as required in the conventional form in both developing and mature markets .
Instead the company will focus on improving the perceived quality of its products, especially with its interior, as Lo has ruled Megane grown bigger than its current size because it will increase the weight and eliminate aerodynamic efficiency.
“Perceived quality is what it’s all about now, touch and feel is so important. We need to think how we can make our cars more ‘French’, injects a lot of lessons from the French brand associated with luxury.” And “We have to be smart,” additional expression Lo.
